Symposium - Cooperation, pooling strengths and cohesion in the face of the challenges of cross-border labour markets: more solidarity-based practices?

The labour markets in cross-border regions are under pressure: crises
(health, energy, demographics or even the economy), labour shortages and regional
regional competition are just some of the challenges. What are the prospects
do cross-border regions have? Calls for more cohesion
between the regions and inclusive development are becoming louder. Promises
solidarity between neighbouring regions through the joint use of
resources (and in particular labour) a solution to current challenges and to

During the symposium, these questions will be discussed in two panels, in which
first the Greater Region and then Switzerland, explaining the respective challenges and
